We are delighted to announce that the latest Star Clippers brochure has just arrived in the office - always an exciting time!
Star Clipper
As the demand for new destinations in Southeast Asia continues to grow, we're thrilled to announce that Star Clippers have added Cambodia to their growing list of ports. Beginning in April 2020, the Star Clipper will call on the Cambodian Island of Koh Rong, a wildlife paradise boasting dense forests and white sandy beaches, and the trendy coastal city of Sihanoukville, known for its uninterrupted beaches and fresh seafood. And while in Cambodia, why not check off a bucket list item by adding a two-day land extension to the iconic temple complex of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap.
In Spring and Autumn Star Clipper will sail new itineraries between Singapore and Kota Kinabalu, savoring the delights of Sarawak and Sabah in Malaysian Borneo. For Summer, she will sail to the spice island of Bali, operating a choice of exciting itineraries exploring the islands of the Indonesian archipelago.
Star Flyer
The Star Flyer will spend the winter season sailing in and out of St. Maarten. Sail across the Anegada Passage and discover the Treasure Islands, so named because they include some of the most exclusive jewels in the Caribbean such as the chic British Virgin Islands and St. Barts. Head Southward on a Leeward Islands cruise and step ashore in Nevis. Rainforests, rushing rivers and a hundred waterfalls greet you in luxuriant Dominica, while in Guadeloupe, the island shaped like twin wings of a butterfly, the steaming fumaroles and jungle clad slopes of Soufriere await hikers' explorations in Parc National de la Guadeloupe.
In the summer she will return to the Mediterranean, offering sailings in and out of Piraeus (Greece), Valleta (Malta), Malaga (Spain) and Venice (Italy).
Royal Clipper
The Royal Clipper will continue sailing in the Western Mediterranean calling on an array of new ports. The seven-night Corsica, Sardinia & Riviera sailing, round trip out of Cannes, will visit the charming town of Propiano, Corsica, which features a vibrant harbour with luxury shopping, and Stintino, a small traditional village with some of the best beaches in Sardinia. In Croatia, new ports of call include Zadar, where guests can explore Roman ruins and Venetian architecture before experiencing the famed Sea Organ, and romantic Korcula, with its red tile roofed Old Town and surrounding cypress and pine forest. For those wishing to take a deeper dive into Croatia, an 11-night Montenegro & Croatia sailing will now call on Vis Island, a pearl among Croatian Adriatic Islands that has been left untouched by tourism for many years.
The above is just a selection of the destinations and itineraries offered by Star Clippers in the next few seasons.
