We love Star Clipper cruises and we are lucky enough to have sailed on all three ships on numerous occasions. A cruise on any of the three beautiful and unique vessels is a magical and unforgettable experience, and once hooked many clients return again and again.

Demand for Star Clipper sailings has never been higher, and we are having to disappoint more and more clients who call to book only to be advised that the sailing they want is already full. Remember, Star Clipper and Star Flyer only accommodate 166 passengers, and Royal Clipper a maximum of 227, and when you consider they attract passengers from all over the world, it isn't hard to see why they sell out so quickly.

Book Early

It is true that some cruise lines offer last minute discounts on unsold cabins, but Star Clippers NEVER DO. To get the best deal on a Star Clipper sailing you need to book as early as possible, that way you will qualify for Star Clippers 'Early Booking Discount'. Depending on the sailing, this could be a saving of up to 20%! And, if you are a repeat passenger, you will also receive an additional 5% discount!

More importantly, you will have the best chance of securing the cabin you want on the sailing you want. Believe us when we say, the most popular cabin grades on the most popular sailings sell out over a year in advance and within weeks (if not days) of going on sale. For example, Summer 2025 has only recently gone on sale and already the 11-night Rome to Rome sailing aboard the Royal Clipper, departing 30th August is already fully booked!

Our advice: Don't delay. If you are interested in a Star Clipper sailing, book as soon as you can to avoid disappointment!

Deluxe Suites

Deluxe Suites are the most popular grade of cabin; they are the only cabins that offer a private balcony, they are only available on the Royal Clipper, and there are only fourteen of them. In simple terms, if you want a Deluxe Suite, you must book early.

To give an indication of how quickly these cabins go, there is not one Deluxe Suite left on Royal Clipper sailings in Barbados from December 2023 through to March 2024, and in Summer 2024 Deluxe Suites are sold out on every sailing apart from the 4-night Rome to Rome sailing departing 16th July 2024.

The good news, Winter 2024/2025 and Summer 2025 are now on sale and there are still Deluxe Suites left on numerous departures. But they are selling fast. Just this week, we had three clients looking to book a deluxe suite on a 2024 sailing and all three booked for 2025 when they learnt that there was no availability for 2024.

10 and 11-night Sailings

10- and 11-night Mediterranean sailings on any of the 3 ships are always incredibly popular and sell out extremely fast, particularly those that either sail into or out of Venice. Star Clippers are, at present, one of the very few cruise lines that are still allowed to sail past St Mark's Square and, having done this on three occasions, we can assure people that it is a magical and unforgettable experience. The bad news is that in Summer 2024 there are only two long duration sailings offering an arrival or departure from Venice that have any availability left and these are;

6th July, 10-night, 'Italy, Montenegro & Croatia', Venice to Rome. Category 3 and 6 still available.
30th July, 11-night, 'Italy, Montenegro & Croatia', Rome to Venice. Category 2, 3 and 4 still available.

The good news - Star Clippers have recognised how popular these sailings are and, as such, in 2025 the Star Flyer will be joining the Royal Clipper in offering 10 and 11-night sailings into or out of Venice. The dates are below and there is currently good availability on all listed sailings. But cabins are selling fast.
